Russiav Rustam has extensive experience in investment analysis especially in coal mining, nickel and LNG (downstream). He holds a master’s degree in business management and finance from University of Prof Dr Moestopo Jakarta, Indonesia.
In 1990, Russiav began his career at Sampoerna Bank, after being merged now known as Bank Danamon where he spent several years working as a banking operation supervisor and joined Humpuss Holding Company on 1995 as Tax and Treasury Supervisor. He joined PT Magma Nusantara Limited an Operator of Geothermal Power Plant in Indonesia for five years as a Treasurer. In 2003 after working to PT Bitzer Indonesia (a subsidiary of Bitzer Kühlmaschinenbaum Gmbh) as a Finance and Accounting also Human Resources Manager he worked to Bank Niaga, now known as CIMB Niaga as a pro-Manager for special projects. In 2006 Rusiav joined PT Modal Investasi Mineral, acted as Marketing and Business Development Manager (a Coal & Nickel Holding Company) and was later appointed as the Director of PT Mega Alam Sejahtera (PT Modal Investasi Mineral’s subsidiary - a Coal Mining Company in Berau East Kalimantan). In October 2008 Russiav joined PT Mitra Energi Persada, a LNG (downstream) & Coal Trading Company worked as a Corporate Finance and Business Development Senior Manager. After joining Asia Strategic Advisory he currently manages its clients in Coal & Nickel Projects (conducted due diligent in acquiring coal & nickel mining concession).
